Collaborate

Use the learning resources to prepare a class or discussion about Manhan Opera. If a source is difficult to trace or an explanation needs work, send the page link and one specific question. Chao Li is the founder and editorial lead of this independent documentation project; the site is not a theatre booking office.

Start with a small, specific request
Your purpose A useful starting point What to send
Research or interview Ask about a name, a source used on the site or the project's documentation work. Start with the glossary or source policy. The exact passage or question, your intended use and any publication deadline.
Lecture or public conversation Propose a focused online discussion about reading Manhan Opera sources or documenting a regional art form. Audience, topic, preferred language, proposed dates and whether you intend to record it.
Educational workshop or cultural programme Try the suggested 30-minute activity on the learning resources page and identify a step that needs explanation. Learner level, the confusing instruction and any adaptation you would like to discuss.
Institutional documentation or outreach Suggest a bibliographic correction, a source record or a specific resource for a reading list. Page link, supporting public source and the exact change or use proposed.

What can happen next

The published reading activity can be used as a linked reading assignment without arranging a live session. It has not yet been evaluated in a classroom. Feedback on its clarity is welcome; please omit student names, grades and other personal data.

A source question may lead to a clarification or a correction on the site. Missing evidence stays identified as missing. If you want a correction credited publicly, tell us your preferred public name and whether an institutional affiliation may be shown; we will confirm the attribution before publication.

Live conversations, interviews and workshops require separate agreement on the speaker, language, availability, format and any costs. An enquiry does not reserve a date or promise a performance. Reproduction, translation and recording permissions are also agreed separately.

Send your enquiry

Email contact@manhanopera.org. Include the relevant page, your question, your organization if applicable and the intended audience. For a proposed event, add the date, location or online format and publication or recording plans. Do not send identity documents or other sensitive personal information.

A short message is enough to begin. Replies depend on the request and available capacity; no response time is promised. Collaboration is confirmed only when both parties agree in writing.
