ManhanOpera.org is an independent cultural documentation project. Important claims are tied to a source class and are written only as broadly as the evidence permits.

Public sources

• Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China: review of the Manhan Opera volume supports the treatment of Manhan Opera as a distinct opera genre and documentation subject.
• China Daily: Manhan folk song helps distinguish Manhan folk song or tune from Manhan Opera.

Archive records

Certificates, complete periodical issues and dated institutional records may support a narrowly stated fact. A citation does not grant permission to reproduce a complete publication, photograph or document. Private identifiers are never published.

First-party statements
